The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8292 on 5/21/09, as the stock market fell on a worse then expected initial jobless claims figure released in pre market. The Dow Jones Futures started the day lower but investors sold stocks as they opened on Thursday. The Dow Jones went from being down 100 at the open to down almost 200 at one point in the afternoon hours. The Dow managed the close above the 8250 support level going into the final trading day before the long holiday weekend. Commodities also sold of except for Gold Prices which went higher.
I continue to watch the Dow Jones and how it reacts to support at 8250 and the S&P 500 at 882.
