Stocks to Watch - 4/20/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Financials: Financials continue their surge ahead of one more key bank earnings report scheduled for Monday which would be Bank of America ( BAC ). After the number is released, you could get a pre market pop, but then I think you will see the sellers hit B of A stock as they did to Citigroup ( C ) Friday. They also did this to Goldman Sachs ( GS ). I am done trading Financial Bull 3x ( FAS ) above $9 and have switched to trading Financial Bear 3x ( FAZ ). I feel this surge in financial stocks is almost through for the short term and it is more risky to be holding FAS then FAZ. We have maybe another 30 points upside in the S&P to 900 but I honestly can't see it staying above 900 for long.

DryShips ( DRYS ) - DRYS continues to surge and is now officially breaking out to the upside after busting up through the $6.17 resistance which I spoke about on Thursday. I am now watching $7.38 for signs of yet another break out.

Dendreon ( DNDN ) - DNDN stock is ripping back into the $18's Friday. This could very well set up for a new surge on Monday. I will be watching this stock closely. Check out what analysts are saying.

Conexant Systems Inc. (CNXT) - Whoa! Big afternoon rally for CNXT on Friday. Somebody wants in and I wouldn't mind going along for the ride if they aren't done buying. CNXT earnings are right around the corner.

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (PSUN) - PACSUN was also surging in the afternoon trading session Friday. No news that I can find, another oversold retailer bouncing higher. Watch PSUN Monday!

Sirius XM Radio ( SIRI ) - SIRI just breaking out on technicals - Check out my analysis from a few days ago....$0.57 is in sight
