The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8058 on 4/13/09, as the stock market bounced back after a weak open. The Dow Jones Futures were down this morning due to further GM bankruptcy talk and profit taking after a huge run last Thursday. The Bank Stocks such as Bank of America ( BAC ), Citigroup ( C ), and Financial Bull 3x ( FAS ) continued to rip higher after a positive Wells Fargo ( WFC ) pre earnings announcement on Thursday. Goldman Sachs ( GS ) will be reporting earnings tomorrow. The stock market continues to act well on bad news, a very bullish sign! The Dow has now closed over 8000 for the second straight day which will continue to be a solid support level.

Crude Oil was lower as the IEA came out with a report saying demand will be down by 2.4 million barrels per day. Gold Prices flirted with 900 but then pulled back.
