The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9015 on 1/6/09, as the stock market fluctuated all day between up big and flat. The Dow Jones hit a high of 9088 this afternoon but at the end of the day retested 9000. The Dow Jones has resistance around the 9139-9150 area and this will be a key test. The Nasdaq was also strong hitting a high of 1665, 10 points away from resistance at 1675. Support for the Nasdaq is all the way down at 1600.
