Citigroup Inc. ( NYSE:C ) is trading between $3.42-$3.43 Monday night as the stock had another solid day. Something bearish happened today with the 10 day moving average breaking down through the 200 day moving average. This is usually a sell signal. However, given what happened last week, the trend is still upward after Citigroup made a short term bottom at $3.13. Look for there to be resistance located in the $3.60's if it gets there.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10414 on 12/21/09, as the stock market jumped which started on an upgrade on Intel Corporation (INTC). The Dow Jones Futures were up around 40 in pre market after Barclay's came out and slapped a buy on Intel Corporation (INTC). INTC stock was up 4% at one point during the morning but slipped 1% throughout the trading day.
We also saw a few deals today which included Sanofi-Aventis (SNY) buying Chattem Inc. (CHTT) & Bucyrus International Inc. (BUCY) buying a unit of Terex Corp. (TEX).
All three of these events caused the stock market to push towards 2009 highs. Tomorrow, we will see some key economic data such as existing home sales.
