Tesla (TSLA) Stock Upgraded - 2019 Price Target $437

January 31, 2019 - Tesla (TSLA) stock is hovering around $300 per share this morning, fresh off another profitable quarter.  Tesla (TSLA) stock price target was raised to $437 from $418 at Oppenheimer.

Shares would be trading higher but late in the conference call last night, CEO Elon Musk announced that current CFO Deepak Ahuja would be retiring for a second time.  The financial keys will be handed to 9 year veteran Zach Kirkhorn.  This news is pretty boring because they hired a veteran inside the company and most shareholders knew Deepak would retire again at some point.  TSLA shares would be down a lot if they were actively seeking to hire someone from outside.  Mr. Kirkhorn has been on the team for awhile and has a keen sense of the demands of Elon Musk.

As for the earnings report itself, they improved cash on hand by nearly $700 million which was the key metric I always look at.  Tesla will have a large debt payment due in March and the growth in cash on hand will pay for this.  

Its clear that Tesla (TSLA) plans to be profitable every quarter from here on out and they have a great product road map.  The Model Y will start to be produced on a small scale by 2020 and the Chinese Gigafactory will be producing Model 3 vehicles by year-end as well.  Even if we see a recession that may or may not come, Tesla is ready for it.

I strongly feel that later in 2019, we will see one of those straight-up bull runs into the low to mid $400's.  Besides TNA, TSLA is my favorite stock at the current share price.

Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT) surged again on Friday after the company reported strong liver disease drug data last week.  ICPT stock is now one of the Top Stocks in 2014 with a gain of over 550%.

Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT) dropped into the close on Friday and again in after hours trading.  Shares closed the regular session at $446 and closed after hours at $418.50.  ICPT will have support at $387 as well as $373.  A break below $373 could set up a move to $340-$350 but then produce a bounce.  We will be watching it in the Stock Picks Group.

Noodles & Company (NDLS) Stock Upgraded - 2014 Price Target $60

Noodles & Company (NDLS) is a stock I cover in the stock picks group and is a stock i own for the long term in my retirement account.  Given the drop down into the $37's on Friday, I'm now issuing an upgrade and a buy alert to anyone looking for a good long term stock to buy and hold.  Noodles & Company (NDLS) receives a $60 price target for 2014.

Noodles & Company (NDLS) is a fast casual restaurant chain that is growing regional to national.  Management came from Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) and they are doing their best to replicate Chipotle's success.

Noodles & Co is valued at only $1.1 billion with around 380 restaurants right now.  Their goal is to have 2,500 locations in 10-15 years.  By that time, we should see NDLS hit a market cap of at least $10 billion.  This would translate into a share price of around $350 per share if all goes well.

Expect 2014 to kick off explosive growth and the stock to rebound sharply.  As I stated earlier, I'm giving NDLS a 2014 Price Target of $60 per share.

November 7, 2011 - Inhibitex, Inc. (INHX) stock was upgraded this morning which is causing the stock to pop for the second day. Brean Murray is out with an investor note calling Inhibitex, Inc. (INHX) a buy with a 2012 price target of $12 per share. If the trial becomes successful, Inhibitex, Inc. (INHX) could compare to the likes of Pharmasset, Inc. (VRUS) which has a similar Hep-C drug.

Inhibitex, Inc. (INHX) rallied up into the $9's on Friday after releasing the following news. INHX stock is currently trading at $9.55, Up 12% in pre market this morning.

Inhibitex Commences Dosing of Phase 2 Clinical Trial of INX-189 in HCV Infected Genotype 2/3 Patients

Inhibitex, Inc. (Nasdaq:INHX - News), announced today that it has recently commenced dosing in a 90-patient randomized, placebo controlled, treatment guided, Phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability and antiviral activity of INX-189 in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin in chronic HCV-infected genotype 2 and 3 treatment naïve patients. The trial is designed to evaluate three once-daily doses of INX-189 (25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg) administered in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin for 12 weeks, and also includes a control arm in which patients will receive placebo and standard of care treatment (a combination of pegylated interferon and ribavirin for 24 weeks). Each INX-189 combination treatment cohort in the trial will include 25 patients, and the control arm will include 15 patients.

Patients in the INX-189 containing treatment arms that achieve an extended rapid viral response, or eRVR, defined as having HCV RNA below the level of detection after 28 days and 12 weeks of dosing, will stop all therapy after 12 weeks. Those patients who do not achieve an eRVR will continue receiving pegylated interferon and ribavirin for 12 additional weeks.
