Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) continues to trade over the 10 day moving average now located at $4.62. I am waiting for the stock to close above $4.80 resistance before I buy or a pullback to the 50 day moving average at $4.35. The 200 day moving average which has been going down for over a year will soon stabilize and begin to trend higher which will be bullish for long term. For more Technical Analysis - Go Here

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9787 on 10/8/09, as the stock market exploded higher on better then expected earnings out of Alcoa, Inc. (AA) and a positive initial jobless claims number. The Dow Jones Futures rallied in pre market but the stock market went up even more during the trading day. In the afternoon however, the markets came off their highs but were still very strong.
The Dow Jones hit a high of 9836 today, just 101 points shy of a fresh 2009 high and 164 points away from Dow Jones 10,000. A close above 10,000 would be very bullish and I think you will see a flood of new money come back into the stock market. There are a lot of people out there waiting for the Dow Jones to get back above 10,000 in order to put money to work. It is surely a huge technical level of interest. Next week will be another busy earnings week so be sure to check back for updates.

YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - YRCW stock surged after lunch on Thursday on no news. For Friday, I am watching resistance at $4.75, $4.96, & $5.00. I will be buying the stock when each one of these price points is broken.
Plug Power Inc. (PLUG) - PLUG was hot all day after the company released news early in the trading session on Thursday - 3M and Plug Power Sign Strategic Supply Agreement for GenSys Fuel Cell Units Being Sold in India. Keep an eye on it Friday.
Vonage Holdings Corporation (VG) - VG failed at $2.07 twice on Wednesday, once late in the day and again in afterhours. The stock then got killed Thursday morning. VG is still worth keeping on your radar, pullbacks to $1.50 will be a good buy for a trade.
Ruby Tuesday, Inc. (RT) - Ruby Tuesday hit a fresh 52 week high on better then expected earnings. Keep an eye on resistance at $10.
DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - Drys stock is back above all three major moving averages. It is safe to buy DRYS but if the stock closes back below $6.80, you have to bail. Once DRYS closes back above $8, it will be off to the race again.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG was back testing the 10 day moving average at $44.11 on Thursday. Each time the stock falls below this level, it is gobbled up. Resistance for the stock is clearly located in the mid $47's. As soon as AIG prints $48 again, it will really move.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - The 10 day moving average on Citigroup is currently $4.62. The stock continues to close above this level which is bullish. The only thing holding it back right now is the volume. $4.80 continues to be the resistance level to watch closely. Technical Analysis
Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Still watching the $18.24 high on Bank of America Corp (BAC). I will buy when the stock closes over this level.
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS is almost up $20 in the past week. Resistance is located at $87.50 while support is located at $79.50. I would be a buyer of FAZ if FAS dropped below $79.50 for a quick trade.
Freddie Mac (FRE) - Support = $1.60 - Resistance = $1.86, $1.90
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $1.32 - Resistance = $1.56, $1.60
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Resistance is located at the 10 day moving average currently located at $1.16

October 8, 2009 - UBS has come out and slapped $20 Price Target on shares on Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) today as the firm initiated coverage. This is rather strange and to be honest, I'm not buying the call.
With the stock trading near $30, it would take a HUGE shoe to drop in order for this call to come true. The stock has bullet-proof support at the $24 level which has held numerous times when the Dow Jones was under 9000.

It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 10/8/09 are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.244% & 3 Month Libor Rate - 0.284%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.195%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, October 8, 2009. While the 1 & 3 month libor rates stayed the same, the over night libor went down.
