The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9733 on 7/1/10, as the stock market traded down for the day but rallied back from steep morning losses. The Dow Jones tanked in early trading after a worse then expected housing report. By afternoon however, the major stock market averages almost came back to even for the day before falling into the close.
Tomorrow, Wall Street will get a look at the June jobs report which will be a huge stock market mover. Consensus estimates has the US losing 100,000 jobs for June. If we get a surprise gain, the market could see a nice rally.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - Shares of FAS had another major drop on Thursday but had a huge rally during the afternoon. After hitting $17.40, the stock spiked back to $18.80. I would be a buyer in the $17's if we see another correction down there. If we get a horrible jobs report, look to buy in the $16's for a bounce. Resistance will now be $21 and above.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. bounced back on Thursday after news from the company on debt retirement. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55. CTIC will have resistance located at $0.55 and $0.70.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. continue to trade below $1.00. Resistance is located at $1.00 and if I see Ambac break above this level, I will buy for a quick trade. If you want to try and get ahead of this trade, resistance is located at $0.87.
Stocks to Watch for Daytrading - Blue Dolphin Energy Co. (BDCO) - Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CYCC) - InfoLogix, Inc. (IFLG) - Allied Irish Banks plc (AIB) - Bank of Ireland (IRE) - Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - Jones Soda Co. (JSDA)
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. hit $13.50 on Thursday and then bounced back above $14. Rallies above $15.50 should be sold, for now. I like pullbacks below $14 for the long term or a short term bounce.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. pulled back to $33 on Thursday and then staged a decent bounce. Resistance is now located at $35 as well as $37.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio hit $0.90 on Thursday and then bounce. I like pullbacks below $0.90 as a buy. Sirius XM Radio will now have resistance between $1.00-$1.05.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. held $65 once again and are an excellent buy below $68. If Baidu were to break below $65, we could see an additional dip between $60-$62 which would be a solid buy for a trade.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. are still getting crushed after a worse then expected earnings report. However, below $50, Research in Motion stock is a great buyout target for a company like Microsoft.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices hit $7.10 on Thursday before bouncing. I like AMD around $6.50 for a bounce to $7.50 if we see another down leg. Resistance is located between $8.25-$8.50.

Ford (NYSE:F) stock is higher in today's trading after plunging below $10 earlier in the week. Ford will now have resistance located at $10.63 which is the 200 day moving average. When Ford closes above $11.80 again, I expect the bottom to be in and a new uptrend to start.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) is higher today due to a $390 price target out of JP Morgan. However, Apple Inc is trading below the 10 & 50 day moving averages so the momentum traders are on the sidelines right now. Apple has resistance at $258 & $265, as soon as the stock can close back above these levels, the buyers will come back. Apple remains a strong buy below $250 as well as $240.

Stocks to Watch - 7/1/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - Shares of FAS broke the $19.32 low from the last correction and is now trading around $19 in pre market Thursday. If we see FAS trade between $18.50-$18.75 today, I plan to buy the stock for a trade. Resistance on the upside is located at $20.35 & $21.
Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - SSN has been one of the hottest stocks this week. Resistance is located at $1.00 as well as $1.11. Pullbacks below $0.70 are now a strong buy.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. continue to trade below $1.00. Resistance is located at $1.00 and if I see Ambac break above this level, I will buy for a quick trade. If you want to try and get ahead of this trade, resistance is located at $0.87.
Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) - Shares of Tesla Motors Inc hit $30 on Wednesday and then pulled back hard. I'm not sure why this stock is taking off like this but be careful. This company has never made a profit. Good for a trade, bad for an investment until they start turning a profit.
Stocks to Watch for Daytrading - Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) - Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - InfoLogix, Inc. (IFLG) - Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (RNN) - Allied Irish Banks plc (AIB) - Bank of Ireland (IRE) - Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - Jones Soda Co. (JSDA)
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. look like they will test support of $14. Any dips below $14 are a solid buy for a bounce as well as the long term.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are now trading back around the $35 level. AIG has the potential to pullback to $33 before any major bounce. Resistance is now back at $37 again.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio broke below $1.00 on Tuesday and are now testing $0.90. If we go back to the prior correction, each pullback below $0.90 was a great buy.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue to huge downtrend but is getting a bounce on debt news Thursday. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55. CTIC will have resistance located at $0.55 and $0.70.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. are crashing back to $68 right now due to China growth concerns. I love Baidu below $68 and like it even more below $65 for the long term.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. closed below $50 on Wednesday which is very bearish. The good news here is the fact that Microsoft Corp is stopping the Kin so maybe they will take a hard look at Research in Motion as a takeover target. The Windows 7 Phone is still being worked on.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices broke $7.42 on Wednesday and is now in play. If we see the market rally, I'd expect to see a 10-15% gain in AMD shares. Pullbacks below $6.50 are a buy.

Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - Shares of FAS broke the $19.32 low from the last correction and is now trading around $19 in pre market Thursday. If we see FAS trade between $18.50-$18.75 today, I plan to buy the stock for a trade. Resistance on the upside is located at $20.35 & $21.
Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - SSN has been one of the hottest stocks this week. Resistance is located at $1.00 as well as $1.11. Pullbacks below $0.70 are now a strong buy.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. continue to trade below $1.00. Resistance is located at $1.00 and if I see Ambac break above this level, I will buy for a quick trade. If you want to try and get ahead of this trade, resistance is located at $0.87.
Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) - Shares of Tesla Motors Inc hit $30 on Wednesday and then pulled back hard. I'm not sure why this stock is taking off like this but be careful. This company has never made a profit. Good for a trade, bad for an investment until they start turning a profit.

Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. look like they will test support of $14. Any dips below $14 are a solid buy for a bounce as well as the long term.
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are now trading back around the $35 level. AIG has the potential to pullback to $33 before any major bounce. Resistance is now back at $37 again.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio broke below $1.00 on Tuesday and are now testing $0.90. If we go back to the prior correction, each pullback below $0.90 was a great buy.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue to huge downtrend but is getting a bounce on debt news Thursday. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55. CTIC will have resistance located at $0.55 and $0.70.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. are crashing back to $68 right now due to China growth concerns. I love Baidu below $68 and like it even more below $65 for the long term.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. closed below $50 on Wednesday which is very bearish. The good news here is the fact that Microsoft Corp is stopping the Kin so maybe they will take a hard look at Research in Motion as a takeover target. The Windows 7 Phone is still being worked on.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices broke $7.42 on Wednesday and is now in play. If we see the market rally, I'd expect to see a 10-15% gain in AMD shares. Pullbacks below $6.50 are a buy.

BP plc (BP) stock is ripping back to the 10 day moving average today. BP has only closed above this moving average one time since this crash began. If BP can close multiple days above the 10 day and continue to make higher daily highs, the bottom could be in for the stock. Also, keep an eye on $32.53 which will be major resistance. If BP can close above this previous high, I think we can see a move back to $34-$36. A break below $26.53 at any time would be very bearish!
