Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) continues to be weak after releasing earnings last Thursday. The 50 day moving average should provide some support here but the financials have been real laggards over the past three trading sessions. If we get a stock market correction, these stocks will get hit the hardest. I continue to hold my small long position and will add a little when Citi closes back over the 10 day moving average. I will add a more hefty position when Citigroup closes back over $5. After the 50 day moving average, the next major support level is located at $4.31. For more Technical Analysis - Go Here

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10092 on 10/19/09, as the stock market surged on higher commodity prices. The Dow Jones Futures were bleeding red overnight but by the time we woke up, global markets turned our futures around. When US stocks opened for trading, a surge in commodity prices caused commodity stocks to move higher. Some of the best performing commodity stocks today were: Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX) - Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (POT) - CNOOC Ltd. (CEO) - ConocoPhillips (COP).
Tonight we will receive earnings out of Apple Inc. (AAPL) & Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) while we will get a look into earnings out of Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) & Regions Financial Corp. American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG stock got hit hard Monday after an analyst came out and downgraded FRE & FNM with a price target of Zero. It seems as though some jittery AIG investors sold out because of this news. I continue to watch and wait for a great buying opportinity. I'd be a buyer if AIG fell under $38 given the news above.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (POT) - Pot was on fire Monday after some takeover rumors surfaced on Wall Street. POT is now trading above $100 and does not have any major resistance until $112. I'd be a buyer of pullbacks under $99.
US Energy Corp. (USEG) - USEG hit a 2 year high on Monday as more follow through buying came into the stock. With volume at 15 times normality, this has and will continue to be a nice stock to trade.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) - AAPL earnings are due out tonight, most people think the stock will go above $200 and stay there but this stock feels like an overcrowded long position. Would not be surprised to see a correction and would look to get in below $178. Update: 4:45pm - Apple Inc reported earnings of $1.82, stock is surging over $200 - I was dead wrong!
CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) - CVM stock is now showing signs of extreme weakness. The stock cannot hold the $1.60 level as all. The chart is now showing a head and shoulders pattern which is bearish. I plan to buy the next time the stock closes above $1.60 which hasn't happened for 10 straight trading sessions.
Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup continues to be weak after reporting earnings last week. I still have more small long position in which I don't plan on selling anytime soon. I will add to this position when Citigroup closes back over $5.
Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corporation is weak as well. I am watching for a close above the 10 day moving average located at $17.63. $17 must hold on a closing basis or more selling pressure with hit the stock.
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - If FAS breaks down through Monday's low of $84.80, it could see another leg lower. I would be a buyer if FAS pulled back to the $74-$76 area. As for FAZ, if FAS gaps higher in pre market and then breaks down through $84.80, I will be a buyer for a quick trade.
Freddie Mac (FRE) - Broke support on Monday, would not touch the stock unless it broke above $1.63 resistance.
Fannie Mae (FNM) - Broke support on Monday, would not touch the stock unless it broke up though $1.39 resistance.
SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - Watch for a close over $0.62 which is the 50 day moving average - would be very bullish!
Ford Motor Co. (F) - Ford Motor Company bounced back Monday, watching for a close over $7.80.

I've been doing a lot of short term trading stock analysis on Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) lately, now I want to take a longer term approach. After all, I recently started a long term position in the stock in which I have a 1 year price target of $8-$10 per share.
Resistance continues to be located at $5. When Citigroup closes above $5, I will add to my holding. I will also buy when Citigroup breaks the $5.43 high which will signal a new break out. Citigroup will have major resistance at $6.50 but once the stock closes over that level, I feel the lower end of my target of $8 will soon be met. As for the downside, there is a major test of the 50 day moving average going on. If Citigroup closes below the 50 day, the only way I will buy is if the 200 day moving average is retested ( currently $3.58). Apple Inc AAPL Stock Analysis - Earnings Preview

Apple Inc. (AAPL) closed back below the 10 day moving average on Friday which is a little concerning. Pullbacks to $177 would be a nice entry point for a swing trade. AAPL hasn't tested the 50 day moving average since July. On the upside, if AAPL takes out the $192.32 high, the next major resistance level is located at $200.
As for earnings due out tonight, Apple Inc is expected to post a profit of $1.40-$1.45 per share on 9.8 Billion in Revenue. I expect the stock to move higher if $1.65+ is reported with solid guidance. For more Technical Analysis - Go Here

It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 10/19/09 are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.245% & 3 Month Libor Rate - 0.283%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.188%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, October 19, 2009. While the 1 month libor stayed the same, the 3 month dropped and then overnight went higher.
