Stock Market 5/8/13 May 8, 2013 - Dow Jones Analysis

Dow Jones Resistance Levels - 15,200
Dow Jones Support Levels - 14,941

The Dow Jones and Stock Market have been on fire recently thanks to better economic data and the break out in the Nikkei.  While the Dow is above 15,000 right now, I don't see any major resistance until around 15,200.  On the downside, you might want to start taking profits in stocks if the Dow Jones closes below 14,941.  This is a major support level that must hold.  If 14,941 is broken, check back here because I will be doing additional stock market technical analysis.

Stock Market Closed 4/22/11 - April 22, 2011

The Stock Market ( AMEX, NASDAQ, NYSE, Dow Jones ) and Bond Market are closed for Good Friday. The stock market will open back up on April 25, 2011 and operate under regular hours.

No Rate Cut 9/16 - Fed Doesn't cut Interest Rates 9/16/08

Today the Fed left interest rates at 2.0% by not cutting rates. The Market is going down because of this news. The Dow has fallen 100 points because of this news as many people expected a rate cut today. The Dow is 10,819 - Nasdaq 2157 - S&P 1178

This morning in premarket you will want to watch CLR as they reported some nice earnings. Earnings reports continue to come out...so far they are so so.

As for the Dow, I think we will retest the lows in the coming weeks just to see whats there. If we break the lows on a closing basis, look out below!
