The Stock Market ( AMEX, NASDAQ, NYSE, Dow Jones ) and Bond Market are closed for Good Friday. The stock market will open back up on April 25, 2011 and operate under regular hours.

General Motors GM - Ford F - 12/12/08 - Stock Report

Today, December 12, 2008, General Motors ( GM ) and Ford ( F ) stocks are hurting as the auto bailout failed in the Senate last night. As you can see below, both stocks are under extreme pressure as well as the Stock Market Futures. We should hear soon from the White House whether or not they will use TARP money to hold these companies ( along with Chrysler ) over for the next few months or face bankruptcy. Bankruptcy would cause over 2 million people to lose their jobs adding pressure to the unemployment in America. Most think President Bush will not let this happen. Stay Tuned......

LEH Lehman - No Government Bailout or Backing

The Government just came out with a statement saying there will be no Government money in in the resolution of the Lehman ( LEH ) situation.

Lehman shares are down another 16% in pre market trading to $3.56 per share. 9/12/08
