Top Stocks: AAPL, BAC, CSCO, INTC, GE, NVDL

By Tim - http://stockstobuy.org/

Check the Top Stocks Gainers in 2011, year to date.

Below we will be discussing AAPL, BAC, CSCO, INTC, GE, NVDL.OB

Apple Inc. (AAPL) - Apple Inc. (AAPL) dropped below $340 in early trading on Monday. AAPL has since rebounded but is continuing the recent downtrend. AAPL will have resistance on the upside located around $345-$348 now. Apple Inc has support at $330.

Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corp (BAC) was up around 1% on Monday. The financials remain weak but BAC stock has been basing in the mid $13's. BAC has been called the worst financial right now but as long as the stock remains above $13, I like it.

Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) - Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) is testing $17 today in early trading but so far it is holding. CSCO is a buy down here for the long term and I think once the CEO hints at a positive forecast, the stock will shine again. CSCO is trading at $17 for a reason, Wall St hates it right now.

Intel Corporation (INTC) - Intel Corporation (INTC) is back below $20 on Monday. INTC will have resistance located at $20 followed by $21. Intel remains a strong buy below $21. Intel has support down at $19 this week.

General Electric Corp (NYSE:GE) - General Electric Corp (GE) is back above $20 today and is looking strong. GE stock saw a huge downfall after the Japan crisis but that is old news right now. A lot of GE longs were flushed out and are now kicking themselves for selling. GE will have resistance between $21-$22 per share.

Novadel Pharma Inc. (NVDL.OB) - Novadel Pharma Inc. (NVDL.OB) broke out to the upside on Monday on better than expected earnings recently.

General Electric GE Stock Upgrade - September 2009

September 8, 2009 - Shares of General Electric Co. (GE) will be getting a nice bounce today after JP Morgan has upgraded the stock.

Price Target - $17

JP Morgan sees potential upside surprises and feels the risk reward at current levels is very attractive.

General Electric Co. (GE) has been fighting the 10 day moving average for several days last week but today the stock is set to open over this level. Keep an eye on the previous high of $14.88. When I see GE stock close over this level, I will jump in.

General Electric GE Stock Upgraded - Goldman Sachs

July 30, 2009 - Shares of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) are surging more then 6% this morning to $13.07 as Goldman Sachs has upgraded the stock. GE stock has been added to the conviction buy list.

I am watching out for the next resistance level which is located at $14.43. If this level is broken, GE shares can trading well over $15.

Stock Market News March 17, 2009 3/17/09

The following is a summary of the top stock market news moving the market in today's trading action. I will highlight events that could potentially move the stock market in the next day or two and report things that I am watching.

Stock Market Report - 3.17.09

Building Permits: This morning we got building permits data that was a bit better then expected. Building permits, which are less volatile than the housing starts data, rose 3% in February to a 547,000 annual rate. Permits for single-family units rose 11% to a 373,000 rate, the largest percentage gain in 18 years. So this news was good news this morning.

Aloca ( AA ) - $5.56 Down 9.17% - Alcoa (NYSE:AA) announced today a series of operational and financial actions to significantly improve the Company’s cost structure and liquidity. The operational actions will reduce costs by more than $2.4 billion annually, reduce capital expenditures an additional $1.0 billion in 2010, and improve working capital by $800 million in 2009. The Company is reducing the quarterly common stock dividend from $0.17 to $0.03 per share, saving more than $400 million annually, and launching a public offering of common stock and convertible notes planned to yield proceeds of approximately $1.1 billion

Oil Prices - $48.38 - Oil going up toward resistance at $50.50 - If Oil starts trading above $50 for a few days, you could see a quick move toward $60. This would actually be good for the stock market as oil prices take the temperature of the economy.

Dow Jones 30 Leaders - Wal Mart ( WMT ), ExxonMobile ( XOM ), Home Depot ( HD ), Citigroup ( C ). XOM - Exxon Mobil to build tech center in Shanghai - HD - Home Depot up on the good housing data above.

General Electric ( GE ) - $9.77 Up 1.14% - GE Transportation Signs 47 Million Agreement with Trenitalia

Fed Meeting - Two day Fed meeting starts today, we will get a Fed statement out tomorrow afternoon at 2:15pm Est. This could be a market mover.

Stock Market 3/5/09 March 5, 2009 Wall Street Report

Today, 3/5/09, the stock market futures are indicated lower after the quick sell off at the close yesterday. This has happened during the the past 4 trading sessions. That final 15 minutes can be brutal. Oil prices are falling to around $44 as Gold prices are rising to $916. The following news is the reason the stock market will be down today.

Wall Street Report - 3/5/09

General Motors ( GM ) - GM auditors raise doubts on automaker's viability, GM auditors cite losses, lack of cash flow in raising doubts about its viability.

General Motors Corp.'s auditors have raised "substantial doubt" about the troubled automakers ability to continue operations. The company revealed the concerns, raised by the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP, in its annual report filed on Thursday. Full Article

General Electric ( GE ) - Keith Sherin CFO was on CNBC this morning and said the selling due to the potential capital risk is overdone. " There are no triggers that would put sudden strain on cash position. "
- GE Capital will be profitable during the first quarter
- Only 2% of GE capital is subject to mark to market

General Electric shares have tanked over the past several weeks on fears of a rating downgrade. Yesterday, Bill Gross talked about what he thinks is going on.

Also, if GE stock would fall below $5, most Mutual Funds would be forced to sell due to the fact that they don't holds stocks under $5. You saw this happen to Citi and B of A stock.

Other factors causing today's stock market plunge are the bank stocks. BAC and HSBC are both significantly lower in pre market trading.

General Electric GE Dividend Cut 2/27/09 - Haynesville Shale

General Electric ( GE ) will cut their dividend from .31 cents per quarter to .10 cents per quarter starting in the 3rd quarter of 2009. GE hasn't officially announced this but David Faber of CNBC has announced this.

GE will save 9 billion dollars a year with this dividend cut as it will come down from $1.24 per year to $0.40 per year.

GE stock spiked to $9.00 on this news but has since tanked to around $8.60 per share. Right now the stock appears to be all over the place but the spike to $9 brought the Dow Jones back to even on the trading day.

In other General Electric news today, February 27, 2009, GE is getting into the Haynesville Shale:

Natural gas processor and transporter Regency Energy Partners LP on Friday said that it, along with Alinda Capital Partners LLC and an affiliate of GE Energy Financial Services, are forming a joint venture to finance and construct Regency's Haynesville expansion project.

Dallas-based Regency will contribute to the joint venture its Regency Intrastate Gas System in North Louisiana, valued at $400 million, in exchange for a 38 percent general partnership stake in the venture. GE Energy Financial Services and Alinda Capital Partners LLC will contribute to the joint venture $126.5 million and $526.5 million in cash for a 12 percent and a 50 percent stake, respectively.

The North Louisiana pipeline will transport gas from the Haynesville shale formation, one of the fastest growing U.S. natural gas fields, which stretches through parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Being the founder of www.oilshalegas.com, I have done extensive research on all the energy shale plays in the USA and Canada. The haynesville shale, located in Louisiana and East Texas, has the potential to be the biggest natural gas field in America. If one day we convert our vehicles to compressed natural gas, the haynesville shale has enough gas to support this. The Marcellus Shale is up there as well!

Stock Quotes 2/24/09 February 24, 2009 - Stock Prices

Below is a list of Stock Quotes/ Stock Prices for some of the most followed stocks on Wall Street. I watch these stocks daily for signs the stock market is ready to bounce. If these stocks start to turn around, the stock market will most likely turn around. This will then cause some of the more risky stocks to bounce as well.

Today is the calm before tonight's storm. President Barack Obama will give his first State of the Union Address and Wall Street will be listening for any signs of a plan or further action. The Stock Market could be a big mover tomorrow on what Obama says ( or doesn't say ) tonight.

CNBC Fast Money Recap 1/23/09 January 23, 2009

Today, January 23, 2009, CNBC's Fast Money Guy Adami and Jeff Mackie gave their insight on General Electric ( GE ). Jeff Mackie also made a bullish case of some of the Banking Stocks.

CNBC Fast Money Recap 1/23/09

Guy Adami on General Electric ( GE ) - Huge volume today in GE stock...there is a value in their other businesses, the volume today could be a sign of capitulation, and we may have seen it today.

Karen Finnerman on GE - It wouldn't be shocking to me if they accessed some sorta of government mandate...I'm not long or short, really don't know how it will turn out with General Electric.

Pete Najarian on GE Options trading - I think they could get a credit rating change and that is a risk... the options activity right now is huge - the options trading right now is not protection, but speculation on the downside in options all the way down to the $5.00 strike price. Jeff Mackie on the Banking Stocks - I bought these stocks: Bank of America ( BAC ), Citigroup ( C ), Morgan Stanley ( MS ) - willing to take the risk that these banks aren't going to zero....all the bad news is out, Obama won't let these fail. I am a trader so I could get out of these next week but I think that there is no news they could put out that could surprise me.
