The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8030 on 4/15/09, as the stock market seesawed between positive and negative territory pretty much all day. The Dow Jones Futures went down in pre market on comments out of the CEO of Wal Mart. After a weak open, stocks rebounded into the green. There were huge swings in the financials such as Bank of America ( BAC ), Citigroup ( C ), and Financials Bull 3x ( FAS ). All three stocks remain very strong with major dips being bought. Watch for earnings out of JP Morgan ( JPM ) and Google ( GOOG ) tomorrow. Check out my stocks to watch report for Thursday. Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. (PZG) - $1.08 Up 45.95% - Wow, No News, 10 times normal volume in the first half hour!

Premier Exhibitions Inc. (PRXI) - $1.02 Up 47.83% - No News, nice little bump off the bottom, low volume however. I remember going to one of their " Bodies " exhibits in Baltimore when this stock was at $8. If you live in New York City, you should go check it out, worth the $$$$!!

Sirius SIRI Stock April 15, 2009 4/15/09

Today, Sirius XM Radio ( SIRI ) stock is rebounding in pre market due to the following news:

S&P raises Sirius XM ratings on near-term liquidity

Siri stock is $0.38 Up 8.47%

I continue to watch $0.43-$0.44 resistance, a break above this area could really move SIRI stock higher, possibly into the high $0.50's. Siri appears to have solid support around $0.34-$0.35 which is the 10 day moving average.

FAS - FAZ Stock Analysis April 15, 2009

The Direxion Financial Bull 3X Shares ETF ( FAS ) and the Direxion Financial Bear 3X Shares ETF ( FAZ ) have been very active over the past six months. The following is technical analysis on Financial Bull ( FAS ) for 4/15/09. Knowing the support and resistance levels of FAS will help you trade FAZ.

Fas Support and Resistance Levels - April 15, 2009

Resistance Levels: $8.00, $8.70, $10.00

Support Levels: $7.80, $7.36, $7.00

FAS topped out at $10.05 on Monday which will be a key resistance level to watch in the future. Yesterday was the biggest down volume day in the history of FAS stock, something worth watch closely. I am watching $7.80 and and $7.36 very closely on a closing basis. $7.36 was the low on Thursday when we got the Wells Fargo news. $7.80 was the previous high from mid March which was broken, hence the run to $10. The good news is the low $6's have been a solid buying level and should atleast hold for a nice 10-15% bounce back into the $7's if we get there.

As for FAZ, FAS is still in the uptrend but if FAS closes below $7.36, there is a good chance to make money in FAZ. JP Morgan and Citigroup both report in the next two days..something to watch closely! To me, FAS and FAZ are the best day trading stocks out there! For More Technical Analysis - Go Here

Stock Market Futures

The Dow Jones was down Tuesday but managed to close over the 10 day moving average of 7903. This figure will move higher tomorrow but the Dow is showing slight signs of exhaustion. I still have my eye on the 50 day moving average and will buy pullbacks around 7500 if we get them. A close above 8000 will get me to buy stocks once again. As of now, I remain on the sidelines. Financials: Once again, I continue to watch the financials. Citigroup ( C ) was on fire for the 3rd straight trading session on Tuesday. Financial Bear 3X ( FAZ ) surged higher as the Financial Bull ( FAS ) ETF topped out in pre market over $10 per share.

Citigroup ( C ) Earnings April 17, 2009 - 8am EST

Financial Bull 3X ( FAS ) - Will be watching $7.80 support very closely Wednesday.
Wells Fargo ( WFC ) - $17.50 must hold on a closing basis, or more weakness will follow
Citigroup ( C ) - Watching $3.89 Support, if things get out of hand, $3.35 could be tested again.
Bank of America ( BAC ) - Needs to hold $10
General Electric ( GE ) - $12.50-$12.53 resistance failed twice, watching pullbacks to $11

Stock Above $2 I will be Watching - April 15, 2009

Dendreon ( DNDN ) - DNDN came out with positive trial data on Provenge, the prostate caner drug. If $16 holds and DNDN trades back over short term resistance of $18, I think it could go back into the $20's. This is a risky stock though! Check out what analysts are saying.

Agfeed Industries ( FEED ) - Not much happened with FEED on Tuesday but was up in a down market. FEED bounced off $3.00 and broke through the high of day on Tuesday afternoon. Last trade $3.40. The volume is still there, over 3.7 million shares traded with one hour left to go.

Stock Market April 15, 2009 4/15/09

We are half way through the trading session today, 4/14/09. The top news story has to be the retail sales data that was released this morning. March retail sales fell 1.1% in which leading economists expected a positive sales figure. Tonight we wait a market moving earnings report out of Intel ( INTC ).

Financials: After gapping up huge this morning, Citigroup ( C ) is falling back to support in the low $4's. Bank of America ( BAC ) is now having trouble holding $11 while Financial Bull ( FAS ) is having trouble in the $9's.
