I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.

http://www.stockstobuy.org/group/stock-picks
Groupon (GRPN) - I bought Groupon (GRPN) stock on Tuesday at $3.91 and ended up selling for a small loss at $3.87. The stock failed to break out and didn't want to risk holding through earnings later in the week.
Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (ANR) - I bought Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (ANR) stock on Wednesday at $8.65 and sold later in the day at $8.69 for a minor gain.
I didn't make a lot of trades this week due so many risky events. The stock market tanked so being flat for the week was a huge win for me.

Stock Picks October 2012 (AAPL,WDC,ZNGA,FFIV,WWAV,FB)
By Tim - http://stockstobuy.org - Twitter - @stockstobuy -
I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.
Below is analysis of my trades from October 22, 2012 - October 26, 2012 - I had a 6 out of 7 success rate with an open position in Apple (AAPL) into the weekend

Zynga (ZNGA) - Zynga (ZNGA) was a stock I bought in after hours Wednesday after the company beat earnings estimates. The stock jumped to $2.48 and then pulled back. I ended up buying at $2.38 and getting stopped out at $2.36 for a minor loss.
F5 Networks, Inc. (FFIV) - I bought F5 Networks, Inc. (FFIV) on Thursday morning at $82.24 and sold at $83.62 for a sweet gain.

Stock Picks October 2012 (AAPL,SRPT,NFLX,INVE,CSX,MANH,MLNX,SCSS,RVBD)
By Tim - http://stockstobuy.org - Twitter - @stockstobuy -
I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.
Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) - I bought Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) on Monday at $26.05 for my first trade of the week. About 15 minutes later I was able to sell the stock at $26.55 for a nice gain.
Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) - I tried to catch the bottom on Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) at $64.34 on Monday and while I was successful, I sold to early at $64.54.
Identive Group, Inc. (INVE) - Identive Group, Inc. (INVE) released positive news on Tuesday which caused the stock to pop. I bought small position at $1.26 and sold at $1.31.
CSX Corp. (CSX) - I bought CSX Corp. (CSX) at an average of $22.16 in after hours on Tuesday after the company released earnings. I decided to cut my losses at the open on Wednesday at $21.20.
Manhattan Associates, Inc. (MANH) - Manhattan Associates, Inc. (MANH) beat and raised on Tuesday night so I bought the stock in after hours at $63.50. I sold MANH on Wednesday at $64.11 for a nice gain.
Identive Group, Inc. (INVE) - I held a full but small position in INVE with a $1.32 average on Tuesday and was stopped out Wednesday morning at $1.23. This was one of my poorer trades of the week because I could have sold several times around $1.31 on Tuesday but thought it would break out higher.
Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (MLNX) - Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (MLNX) reported an earnings and revenue beat in after hours on Wednesday so I decided to buy the stock at $98.03. About 10 minutes later I was stopped out for a minor loss due to the tiny position that I took. About 30 minutes later, the company issued guidance which was weak and the stock dropped to $69.
Select Comfort Corporation (SCSS) - I bought a 50% position in Select Comfort Corporation (SCSS) in after hours on Wednesday at $32 after the company released earnings. I sold these shares about 30 minutes later at $32.85 for a nice gain but this was wiped out by next trade.
Select Comfort Corporation (SCSS) - Before I made the above trade, I bought a 50% position in SCSS at $33.50, made the above trade, and then bought back at $31.50 for an average of $32.50. I was stopped out at the open on Thursday at $29.80. I could have sold the $33.50 in after hours for a slight loss several times but decided to keep holding which is where I made the mistake.
Apple (AAPL) - I bought Apple (AAPL) Thursday morning at $638.31 but then sold at $636.50 after I saw the Google (GOOG) earnings release hit the wires.
Riverbed Technology, Inc. (RVBD) - I bought Riverbed Technology, Inc. (RVBD) in after hours on Thursday at $22.60 due to the strong earnings release. I sold a short time later at $23.07 for a nice gain.

Stock Picks October 2012 (AAPL,CLWR,JPM)
I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.
Below is analysis of my trades from October 8, 2012 - October 12, 2012 - I had a 4 out of 4 success rate with no open positions into the weekend.
Apple (AAPL) - I started the week off by buying Apple (AAPL) stock on Monday at an average of $643.01.
I was called in for Jury Duty on Tuesday so this was the only trade I made until Wednesday.
On Wednesday I sold Apple (AAPL) stock on the rally at $645.04 for a small gain. However, given that the stock dropped to $623.55 during Jury Duty, I was okay with this gain.
Clearwire (CLWR) - Clearwire (CLWR) was a stock I jumped in on Wednesday morning at $1.59. I sold about an hour later for a sweet gain at $1.68. Shares hit $2.52 on Friday but I can't complain, it was a nice gain.
JP Morgan (JPM) - I bought JP Morgan (JPM) on Friday morning at $41.27 on the dip. I sold these shares at $41.70 just moments later on the rally.
Apple (AAPL) - To close out the week I bought Apple (AAPL) Friday morning at $626.80 and sold it less than an hour later at $634.25.
Earnings season hits us like a freight train next week so I will have an active week trading!

Stocks to Buy October 2012 (AAPL,BIOL,MAR,SRPT)
I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.
Below is analysis of my trades from October 1, 2012 - October 5, 2012 - I had a 7 out of 7 success rate with no open positions into the weekend.
Apple (AAPL) - Two weeks ago I purchased a 50% position in Apple (AAPL) stock at $675.60 and held over the weekend. On Monday, I sold into the rally at $676.15 for a minor gain.
Apple (AAPL) - After I made the above trade, I bought a 50% position in AAPL stock at $657 and sold on Tuesday at $663.54. Apple is my favorite stock to trade on a correction because if you get stuck, it always rallies back to new highs.
Apple (AAPL) - After I made the above trade, I bought a 50% position in AAPL at $656 and sold at $661.50.
BIOLASE, Inc. (BIOL) - I bought BIOLASE, Inc. (BIOL) on Wednesday afternoon at $2.19 and sold a short time later at $2.31. This was one of my best trades of the week.
Apple (AAPL) - I bought the other 50% position of Apple on Monday at $666.58 and didn't sell this until Wednesday afternoon at $668.82 on the bounce. This turned out to be a profitable trade but I held longer than I was expecting.
Marriott International, Inc. (MAR) - Marriott International, Inc. (MAR) was a stock I bought Wednesday night at $39.50 after the company released earnings. I sold MAR at $39.75 for a small gain on Thursday morning in pre market.
Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) - Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) was the last stock I traded last week. After SRPT closed near the low of the day on Thursday, I bought the gap down on Friday at an average of $35.31 per share. I sold a short time later at $36.78.

Stocks Picks October 2012 (AAPL,RIMM,BIOF,QCOR,HEB,HAIN,PPHM)
I recently started a stock picks group where I share all of my stock trades in real time, communicate to members what stocks I buy and sell, and give analysis on the stock market. I also highlight key pre market and after hours news and just try to create a daily trading plan so that we can all make money. I also highlight long term stocks to buy and hold because not everyone is a short term investor. Most importantly, I share with members the right way to trade and invest so they can make more winning trades and avoid losses.
Below is analysis of my trades from September 24, 2012 - September 28, 2012 - I had a 9 out of 14 success rate with one open 50% position in Apple (AAPL) into the weekend.
BioFuel Energy Corp. (BIOF) - If you recall, I was holding a tiny position in BioFuel Energy Corp. (BIOF) into last weekend. I decided to buy a little bit more more on Monday and was expecting a bounce. The bounce never came so I ended up buying at $7.05 and getting stopped out at $6.30. This looks worse than it is but when I deal with risky stocks such as BIOF, I take really small positions. I made this back on one Apple trade.
Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (QCOR) - I took an even smaller position in Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (QCOR) on Monday with an average of $20.61. I ended up getting stopped out at $19 with a minor loss. I may get back into this stock when it starts to break out to the upside.
Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - I took a 50% position in Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) at $0.89 on Monday and was able to sell at $0.94 for a nice gain.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) is a speculative biotech stock that looked good in pre market on Tuesday. I bought at $1.22 and was able to sell about 20 minutes later at $1.29 for my best stock trade of the week.
Apple (AAPL) - I took a large position in Apple (AAPL) on Tuesday at $688 and sold a short term later at $692 for a nice profit.
Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - Back to Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB), I bought a 50% position on Tuesday at $0.86 and sold at $0.91 for a nice gain.
Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (HAIN) -Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (HAIN) sparked my interest on Tuesday after the stock saw a $10 drop in three weeks. I bought HAIN at $64.20, watched it jump to $65.60, and then ended up selling at $63.70 for a small loss because I wanted to get back into Apple.
Apple (AAPL) - I bought a 50% position in Apple (AAPL) on Tuesday at $683.73 and sold for a loss on Thursday at $678.40. I had two more Apple trades below that worked out amazing and I wanted to move to the sidelines and regroup.
Apple (AAPL) - I bought a 50% position in Apple (AAPL) on Wednesday at $667 and was able to sell at $672.53. This trade cancelled out the above trade.
Apple (AAPL) - I bought a 50% position in after hours on Wednesday at $665.57 and sold on Thursday at $673.47.
Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - This Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) trade cancelled out two of my above HEB trades because I took a loss. I made a mistake of buying a 50% position in HEB on Monday at $0.97 which I could have sold for a profit twice but didn't. I averaged down at $0.80 on Thursday for a full position at $0.885. I dumped this position for a loss at $0.83 right after my $0.80 buy. I held on to those $0.97's way to long.
Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (QCOR) - I took a small position in QCOR on Thursday morning at $17.87. I sold a short time later at $18.04 for a profit.
Research in Motion (RIMM) - I bought RIMM on the blow out earnings report Thursday night at $8.23 in after hours. I ended up selling RIMM on Friday at $8.37 for a small gain.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) was my last trade of the week Friday morning. I bought PPHM at $1.03 and sold a short time later at $1.08 for a nice gain.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) was my last trade of the week Friday morning. I bought PPHM at $1.03 and sold a short time later at $1.08 for a nice gain.

Below is analysis of my trades from September 17, 2012 - September 21, 2012. I had a 2 out of 4 success rate with one open position in BioFuel Energy (BIOF).
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) was a stock I bought two weeks ago at $3.97 after the huge drop. PPHM wasn't doing much on Monday so I decided to sell at $4.10 with the hope of buying lower. While I still made a nice profit, PPHM closed near $5.40 on Friday!
Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) - After the drop from $1.37 last week, I decided to buy SSN stock at an average of $1.135. I didn't like the way the stock was trading after I bought it so I sold at $1.11 for a minor loss.
REEDS, Inc. (REED) - REEDS, Inc. (REED) was my best trade last week. I bought REED at $5.82 after the huge pullback on Tuesday and sold on Wednesday at $6.15. REED is a buy on all major pullbacks.
Groupon (GRPN) - I bought Groupon (GRPN) on Wednesday at $5.07 and ended up selling at $5.07. I only lost commission so it was a very minor loss. GRPN may have finally hit a bottom with the mobile payment news out this week.
BioFuel Energy Corp. (BIOF) - I bought a small position in BioFuel Energy Corp. (BIOF) on Wednesday at $7.4 and could have sold for a profit multiple times but this momentum stock has the potential to pop at any time. Attempts to average down were not successful last week so I will decide on Monday whether to buy more or sell.
It was a fairly uneventful week in the stock market so I didn't do as many trades as I usually do. Volatility has been sucked out of the stock market recently so you really have to be careful buying because trading a dull market can hurt you. Things will pick up in a few weeks when earnings season returns.

StemCells Inc. (STEM) - I purchased STEM stock at $1.80 Tuesday morning and sold about four hours later at $1.98. This was my best stock trade of the week.
Facebook (FB) - Facebook (FB) was a stock I bought Wednesday morning at $19.12 ahead of the Zuckerberg interview. I ended up selling FB for a gain at $19.36 but the stock hit $22 on Friday. Oh well!
StemCells (STEM) - Two Friday's ago I bought STEM at $2.02 and held that position until Thursday where I sold it at $2.10. STEM is trading back around $2 but lacks volume.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) was the final stock I traded last week. I bought PPHM Tuesday morning at $4.10 and sold the stock on Wednesday at $4.28.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PPHM) - I closed out the week buying PPHM on Thursday at $3.97. I still hold the position and plan to either average down or sell out for a profit.
It was another exciting week! We will be back at it in the Stock Picks Group on Monday -http://www.stockstobuy.org/group/stock-picks

Rosetta Genomics, Ltd. (ROSG) - Rosetta Genomics, Ltd. (ROSG) was a stock I bought at $5.50 in pre market on Thursday after the big upgrade came out. After watching ROSG rally and then fall several times, I decided to sell at $5.60. Small gain, big mistake, but what can you do!

This week was a quiet one with not much action. I made the best of the situation by jumping on a few earnings plays. Next week should be a lot better.
