Visa V Stock Chart Analysis - The following is technical analysis for Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) stock for July 7, 2010.

Visa Inc. Support and Resistance Levels: 7/7/10

Resistance - $77.94

Support - $70

Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) is rallying back to it's 10 day moving average located at $74.06. The bears are more likely to sell here and the bulls who like Visa right now will be buying on a close above this level. Visa will also face even tougher resistance near it's 50 day moving average which is just below $78 right now. Until Visa closes back above the 50 day moving average, I would be a seller into rallies. Short below $70

Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) is bouncing today despite a horrible stock market. Visa Inc has support located at $68.29 as well as $66.24 from the fall. I'd be a buyer of Visa if we saw a plunge below $66.24 which would be a steal for the long term.

Visa, Inc. (V) stock is pulling back to the 10 day moving average after the recent spike higher. If VISA closes below this level, I'd watch out for a possible retest of the 50 day moving average. On the upside, I'm watching the recent high of $89.69. I will be a buyer of a close over $90.

I would not touch the stock until it closes back over the 50 day moving average ( $69.81 ) or retests the 200 day moving average ( $60.92). Keep an eye on the previous two lows of $66.04 & $65.25. Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) has been churning between $66 - $70 for about six weeks now. The key resistance level I am watching is the high of $71.13 from June 2009. A close over this level would be bullish and I think visa could run up to retest $75+

The technicals look great as Visa is now trading above all three key moving averages. I would be a buyer at $68 and $66 if we see a larger pullback.

We are finally getting that long awaited pullback in Visa stock. Support is currently located at $60 with downside to $57-$58 which would be a great buy. I would take an even bigger position if Visa ever got back between $50-$52.50. Visa is a strong company for the future and I would be buying on any huge pullbacks like we are seeing. Visa Support and Resistance Levels: 4/2/09

Resistance - $58, $60

Support - $54, $52.50, $50

Visa continues to trend along with the 10 day moving average, most importantly, above the 50 day moving average. When Visa starts to break out to the upside again, it will be a big move into the $60's. This could actually happen right before or after their next earnings report. I am waiting for a close over $58 as a sign Visa stock is ready to rock. Also, watch for a close above the 200 day moving average, this will be the first time ever! POT, AAPL, V, DRYS Analysis 2/6/09 - February 6, 2009

I will sneak in a little side note for the people who view my blog every day. I believe the stock market is rallying today due to the potential of the stimulus package, short covering, and possible change in mark to market accounting rule or a Timothy Geithner toxic asset purchase plan. The Dow has broken out of a trading range and could test the 50 day moving average next week around 8470.

This is a classic buy the rumor day which could extend into early next week, but I believe traders will sell the above news when it is released.

Oil markets: Oil is falling as the back month contract gets sold, and the front month contract comes in. This is effecting the USO in what it called Contango. I am waiting for the USO to close back over the 10 day moving average for a nice rip higher.

Stock Market Opening Prices - November 19, 2008

Today, 11/19/08, the Dow Jones and Stock Markets are opening higher as investors continue to buy stocks following yesterdays last hour swing up. The Dow Jones was up about 40 points but has since gone negative at around 9:40am est. Today the big three automakers will be testifying in front of the House. Citigroup ( C ) stock is falling below $8 per share.

Dow Jones Open - 8391 Down 33
Nasdaq Open - 1479 Down 4.5
S&P 500 Open - 854 Down 5

Visa ( V ) continues to be strong
First Solar ( FSLR ) is weak
Dryships ( DRYS ) is very weak
General Motors ( GM ) is very weak $2.72

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9625 on 11/04/08, as a relief rally swept through the stock market in anticipation that Barack Obama will win the election. The stock market is going up today because of certainty versus going down because of uncertainty which we had for all of October. The Stock Market Futures were up big this morning, The Dow Jones futures were actually up 230 points at one point with Libor Rates falling for the 7th straight day. The Dow Jones hit a high of 9633 today and traded above 9600 several times, but at 2pm est this all changed. The stock markets began to sell off, halving their gains by 3pm est before bouncing all the way back near the close. Everyday we get attempts to sell off the market in the last half hour only to bounce back near the close. Today at the close, we broke back up through 9633. This latest rally is strong! Oil and Natural Gas prices soared today & Jim Cramer gave a few stock picks at the end of the day today.

Stocks To Watch - Hot Stocks

Biggest Stock Gainers Today - 11/04/08

CIT Group ( CIT ) - CIT group was one of the hottest stocks for most of today

MasterCard ( MA ) & Visa ( V ) have been on fire all day...these two were stocks we mentioned this morning in our pre market trading report. Jim Cramer endorsed them later in the day. The volume is actually coming back to these two stocks which is very positive going forward!

Solar Stocks - First Solar ( FSLR ), Evergreen Solar ( ESLR ), Solarfun ( SOLF ), Energy Conversion Devices ( ENER ) have been hot all day with anticipation Barack Obama will win. Be careful with these stocks though, this looks like typical buy the rumor sell the news, some of these stocks are up 50% in a week and they have been predicting Obama to win for months now.

Hartford Financial ( HIG ) & Las Vegas Sands ( LVS ) have cooled down finally, they have been really weak at the end of the day today. I would only buy these two if they break through the highs of day from here on out.

Baidu.com ( BIDU ) has broken some resistance and has gone up 15% today, keep an eye on this stock!

Jim Cramer 11/04/08 CNBC - Mastercard MA, XOM

Jim Cramer came on CNBC this afternoon, 11/04/08, and said MasterCard MA will go to $180 within 48 hours. He says earnings were good, he preferred Visa ( V ), but is coming back to MasterCard ( MA ).

Exxon Mobile ( XOM ) - Obama does not like how much XOM earns...I would sell XOM and the OIH. You can go long the Ethanol stocks however Jim says.
