The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9707 on 9/24/09, as the stock market had another rough day after existing home sales for August fell 2.7%. The Dow Futures started the day higher after initial jobless claims fell to 530,000. At 10am, the existing home sales data was released and the stock market dropped significantly throughout the day. It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 9/24/09 are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.246% & 3 Month Libor Rate - 0.283%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.214%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, September 24, 2009. While the 1 month libor rate stayed the same, the overnight and 3 month libor rates dropped.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) Support & Resistance Levels - 9/24/09

Resistance Levels: $4.75, $4.99

Citigroup hit resistance at $4.75 and sold off close to the 10 day moving average on Wednesday. When Citigroup finally does break above $4.75, I believe a retest of $5.00 will soon follow. I like pullbacks under $4.50 to the 10 day moving average but would be a seller if Citigroup closes under the 10 day again. The low volume sell-off doesn't concern me, this is rather typical. YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) - YRCW soared Wednesday and is approaching some key technical levels on the upside. Watch resistance at $5.45, $5.94, and $6.26. A close over all three of these levels would spark a rise back to $8-$10 per share by the end of 2009. Pullbacks to the 10 day moving average ( $4.02 ) continue to be a strong buy.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG tanked Tuesday after rumors of a stock offering. AIG broke two support levels and closed weak. On Wednesday morning, AIG tried to break back above $50 and failed. I am now willing to buy AIG for a trade again if it can break back above $50. Support is located at $46 & $44.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup continues to trade above the 10 day moving average. When stocks trade over all their major moving averages, they usually show great strength. Pullbacks below $4.50 are a strong buy in my book. Check out my recent Citigroup Technical Analysis.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - I continue to watch $91.05 for FAS, if it can break up through there, its worth it for me to buy for a trade. I am willing to buy FAZ for a trade when FAS breaks below $88.13 and/or $86.50.

Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corporation stock was recommended on Wednesday with a $22 price target. If you are trading BAC, pullbacks to the 10 day moving average are a great buy ( $17.31 ). For a more longer term trade....wait for a pullback to the 50 day moving average ( $15.97 ). A break above $18.24 at any time would be bullish and I'd expect BAC stock to trade up to $20+

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - SIRI hit $0.69 on Wednesday but then pulled back. I am looking to buy the stock as soon as it closes over $0.70. I will be adding more on a close over $0.75.

Rentech, Inc. (RTK) - RTK had a chance to really break out on Wednesday but the company sold stock in an offering. I am waiting for RTK to break up through $2.11 and then I will buy buy buy.

CEL-SCI Corp. (CVM) - Resistance continues to be $2.10.....CVM went down on positive news Wednesday, not a great sign. I will wait for CVM to break up through the high of the day and then jump back in for a trade.

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Resistance = $1.77 - Support $1.69

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Resistance = $2.15 - Support $2

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) - LVS moved down late Wednesday after news that Wynn Resorts Ltd. (WYNN) has interest in Cotai. However, Analyst Sterne Agee views the news as positive for LVS. Also, JPM Securities recommended LVS Wednesday with with a $24 price target. JPM sees tremendous revenue and cash flow growth in Macau going into 2010. I'd be a buyer on any more weakness.
