As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, April 6, 2009. The one and three month libor rates have declined while the overnight libor rate went up.

Dow Jones Futures 4/6/09 Stock Market Futures

How will the stock market open on Monday - April 6, 2009? The Dow Jones and Stock Market Futures are pointing toward a lower open for pre market. Check out technical analysis for April 6.

Charlie Gasparino CNBC, says that Mike Mayo is putting an underweight rating on all of the major banks, he doesn't believe this run up. He also said Bear Sterns was profitable before they imploded. Futures have gone negative on this news.

Also, Timothy Geithner said over the weekend that they will remove bank management if needed.

Citigroup C Stock 4/6/09 April 6, 2009

The following is a little Citigroup ( C ) stock technical analysis for April 6, 2009.

Citigroup Support & Resistance Levels - 4/6/09

Resistance Levels: $2.92, $3.00, $3.35, $3.89

Support Levels: $2.67, $2.40, $2.20

Citigroup tested and bounced off of support this week at $2.20 and $2.40. Citigroup has also closed over the 50 day moving average two more straight days. The 10 day moving average is finally trading above the 50 day moving average, something that hasn't happened since Citigroup was in the $20's back in September. This is very bullish! Should you buy Citi stock next week? Citigroup failed at $3.00 last week so this is the level I am looking to buy at. A break through $3.00 and I am back in on the long side with a tight stop at about $2.90. This is just a trade however! As April 17th comes closer, I will probably not touch this stock! Dow Jones Support & Resistance Levels - April 6, 2009

Resistance Levels: 8275, 8500

Support Levels: 8000, 7950, 7700

Stock Market Futures

The Dow Jones closed over 8000 today for the first time since early February 2009. This bodes well for further gains next week. Resistance is at 8075 and the downtrend line at around 8300-8350. We had a nice push through 8000 in the last 10 minutes after trading below this level all the day. I wouldn't be surprised if we rise and sell off back to 8000 for the next several trading sessions. I will now be buying pullbacks to the 50 day moving average 7559. A close below 7500 at any time would be very bearish...so if we do get down there, watch this area closely.

Stocks to Watch - 4/6/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Research in Motion ( RIMM ) - RIMM reported outstanding earnings and guidance and was up 20% Friday. You just have to think RIMM will have more upside on Monday. Given size and volume of this move, all pullbacks will be heavily bought.

Google ( GOOG ) - Rumors are circulating that Google might want to buy Twitter. This would be huge and probably make Google stock go higher. Twitter is the best thing the Internet has seen since YouTube, Myspace, and Facebook. Twitter is rapidly growing and I think will be one of the hottest Internet properties in 5 years.

Dendreon ( DNDN ) - I noticed DNDN stock surging on Friday, something is definitely going on with that stocks, not sure if news leaked or what. Here is how I see it: Positive trial results would take DNDN to $10-$15, FDA Approval of Provenge would take DNDN to $30-$40, Failure would take DNDN to $1-$2. - CNBC is reporting DNDN received " Late Breaking Status " for Provenge, whatever that means!

Visa ( V ) - Finally breaking over $58 and testing 200 day moving average.

Chesapeake Energy ( CHK ) - Surging through key resistance of $20, I will now be buying pullbacks to the 50 day moving average.

Financials: Bank of America is paying back some of the TARP, this caused some of the key financials to jump right around 2pm est on Friday.
