The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 25,745 on 6/25/20, as the stock market rebounded.  We are seeing a spike in Covid-19 cases for many reasons but not a big spike in deaths.  The Dow Jones will have major support between 24,500-25,000 going forward so buy good stocks when the market drops into this range.  As for my long term investments, I own Tesla (TSLA), Beyond Meat (BYND), Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), Virgin Galactic (SPCE), and soon to be Mullen USA (NETE).  Check out my Top Stock Picks 2021.

Stocks to Buy 6/25/20 June 25, 2020

June 25, 2020 - The stock market continues to rally back to new highs despite Covid-19.  Below are some amazing stocks to buy if you are looking to put money to work or looking to switch into high quality growth stocks.

Beyond Meat (BYND) - Beyond Meat (BYND) rallied up to $167 recently but then sold off.  While my $150 price target has been met, I'm looking for $200's in 2021.  All eyes will be on earnings in six weeks.   More on BYND.....

Tesla (TSLA) - Tesla (TSLA) seems to be hitting a ceiling below $1010 lately.  Tesla was bought up quickly on a drop to $925 so expect this level to act as support again going forward.  Tesla (TSLA) is a strong buy at $875 and below.  More on TSLA....

Virgin Galactic (SPCE) - Virgin Galactic (SPCE) announced a big NASA deal for private space travel on Monday and shares soared back to $18.  I love this stock long term and I'm expecting more big news later this fall as the company gets ready to send passengers to sub-orbit.  SPCE is a strong buy in the $15's and below.

Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) - GBTC is forming a base after the Bitcoin halving event cut the new supply in half.  I'm bullish on Bitcoin and GBTC for the rest of 2020.  GBTC remains a strong buy on all major pullbacks.

Net Element (NETE) - NETE announced an upcoming reverse merger with electric car company Mullen USA.  Mullen has a really nice looking EV so I'm expecting shares to do well going forward as long as this merger happens.  I own NETE around $6.30 right now and will hold into the fall.

Other stocks to buy and hold for the long term - Slack (WORK), Amazon (AMZN), Chipotle (CMG), Starbucks (SBUX), Apple (AAPL), Disney (DIS), Netflix (NFLX).

Jim Chanos Still Short Tesla (TSLA) Stock

Short seller Jim Chanos, who shorted Tesla (TSLA) in the $200's back in 2015, announced yesterday he is still short the stock even after a 330% rally.  Chanos continues to value the company as a traditional auto maker, not a technology company.

In an interview with Bloomberg yesterday, Jim Chanos said that Q2 revenue will be roughly flat and there was no growth for the past six quarters.  He forgot to mention that the Fremont plant was shut down for two months and 90% of the other NASDAQ companies were affected by Covid-19 as well.  Wall St. always looks into the future and believes many companies will see a rebound in business in 2021.

Tesla (TSLA) stock has made a lot of smart investors look very stupid.  David Einhorn has also shorted Tesla in the $200's and remains short.  Just wait until Tesla starts production of the Semi and Cybertruck.  Wedbush came out with a note yesterday and stated they believe Tesla has 650,000 pre-orders for the Cybertruck.  2021-2022 will be very interesting!
