Resistance Levels: $5.00, $5.43, $6.50

Support Levels: $4.50, $4.15, $3.80, $3.58

I've been doing a lot of short term trading stock analysis on Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) lately, now I want to take a longer term approach. After all, I recently started a long term position in the stock in which I have a 1 year price target of $8-$10 per share.

Resistance continues to be located at $5. When Citigroup closes above $5, I will add to my holding. I will also buy when Citigroup breaks the $5.43 high which will signal a new break out. Citigroup will have major resistance at $6.50 but once the stock closes over that level, I feel the lower end of my target of $8 will soon be met. As for the downside, there is a major test of the 50 day moving average going on. If Citigroup closes below the 50 day, the only way I will buy is if the 200 day moving average is retested ( currently $3.58). Apple Inc AAPL Stock Analysis - Earnings Preview

The following is technical analysis of Apple Inc. (AAPL) stock for October 19, 2009.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) Support & Resistance Levels - 10/19/09

Resistance Levels: $192.32, $202.96

Support Levels: $185, $177

Apple Inc. (AAPL) closed back below the 10 day moving average on Friday which is a little concerning. Pullbacks to $177 would be a nice entry point for a swing trade. AAPL hasn't tested the 50 day moving average since July. On the upside, if AAPL takes out the $192.32 high, the next major resistance level is located at $200.

As for earnings due out tonight, Apple Inc is expected to post a profit of $1.40-$1.45 per share on 9.8 Billion in Revenue. I expect the stock to move higher if $1.65+ is reported with solid guidance. For more Technical Analysis - Go Here

1 and 3 Month Libor Rates 10/19/09 Today's Libor Rates

It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 10/19/09 are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.245% & 3 Month Libor Rate - 0.283%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.188%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, October 19, 2009. While the 1 month libor stayed the same, the 3 month dropped and then overnight went higher.
