The Dow Jones and Stock Market Futures are up nicely this morning, 12/23/08. We are in a Holiday shortened week for the stock market in which we will be closed December 25th and close early December 24th at 1pm. By far, the biggest gainer today will be EPIX which exploded going into the close yesterday. This tiny biotech received FDA approval.

Dow Jones Futures 12/19/08 Stock Market
The Dow Jones and Stock Market Futures are slightly higher this morning, 12/19/08, as we got good earnings out of Oracle ( ORCL ) and Research in Motion ( RIMM ) last evening. The big story today is Oil prices hitting $34 per barrel this morning.

Dow Jones Futures 12/18/08 - Stock Market
The Dow Jones and Stock Market Futures are pointed slightly higher today, 12/18/08, after a late day sell off it the markets yesterday. The news flow has been fairly quiet but the main thing I will be watching tonight is Research in Motion ( RIMM ) earnings after the close. Oil is also ticking up slightly this morning o $40.63 after falling below $40 at one point yesterday. Check out my latest technical analysis of the stock market.
