MF Global (MF) Stock Analysis 2011

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) hit a new 52 week low on Friday but then popped 50% before pulling back. MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) ended up closing around $1.20 on Friday. MF stock will be one to watch next week and will move on company headlines. After a credit downgrade, MF Global is fighting to stay alive and has hired Evercore Partners to explore strategic alternatives.

We could potentially see Goldman Sachs Group (GS) or State Street (STT) buy the MF Global (MF), those are the latest rumors.

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) stock is a sell on a break back below $1.00. For a trade, I'd buy the stock on a break above $1.50 using a tight stop or $0.07-$0.10.

MF Global (MF) Stock Up 30%

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) stock is up by 30% in the first half hour of trading from the $0.99 52 week low at the open. MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) has been under fire due to a potential liquidity squeeze. The company is reportedly in talks to sell business assets in order to raise capital.

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) stock is a sell on a break back below $1.00.
