The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9581 on 8/27/09, as the stock market ended higher despite a weak open this morning. The Dow Jones Futures started the day slightly lower but things got worse right after the open. The Dow Jones went below 9500 at one point this morning but the surge in shares of Boeing, AIG, and Citigroup caused the market to reverse and actually move higher. The Dow came within 10 points of another 2009 high. I will be watching some key data due out tomorrow morning such as personal spending and the Michigan sentiment report. We also will receive earnings out of Dell Inc. (DELL) tonight! Check out some of the events I will be watching for Friday. If you are trading, take a look at my Stocks to Watch Report for tomorrow.

Resistance Levels: $4.90, $5.00, $5.06, $5.37, $5.60, $6.50

Citigroup finally pullback Wednesday but investors and traders are jumping back into the stock today. There is major resistance between $4.90-$5.00. A close over $5 would be huge and I think the stock could run up to Jan 12, 2009 low of $5.37. After $5.37, $5.60 would be the next resistance and then nothing major until $6.50. I plan to buy all major pullbacks to the 10 day moving average or lower. Once Citigroup closes back over $5, the stock becomes marginable which could also provide a lift. Stocks to Watch - 8/27/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) - Citigroup continues the pullback after failing at $5 on Monday. Support is now located at $4.48 as well as the 10 day moving average which is rising rapidly ( currently at $4.33 ). I would expected Citigroup to find support around the $4.50 area. I will be getting back into Citigroup as soon as it breaks through its high of day again. Resistance = $4.75, $4.90, $5.

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Resistance $2, $2.13

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Resistance - $2.16, $2.35

Vonage Holdings Corporation (VG) - Vonage stock continues to surge after breaking up through $1 yesterday. There is major resistance located between $2.30-$2.50 and support in the $1.80's. The volume and volatility have been huge, keep VG on your radar!

Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) - NVAX stock hit a fresh 52 week high Wednesday after scary swine flu estimates have been hitting the news. There is major resistance located at both $6 and $8.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG now trades in a very tight $1 range between $33.25-$34.25. The volume has also died down to pre breakout levels. I will be buying AIG if it breaks back above $35 again. I would also be buying near $28.

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) - SIRI finally had a significant pullback after failing earlier in the week at a close over $0.75. I don't expect SIRI to go down much further unless bad news comes out. The 10 day moving average us currently $0.63 and rising, this will provide solid support for the stock. A break back above $0.70 would be bullish!

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. (HEB) - HEB continues to trade and close over $2....I will be buying HEB when it breaks Wednesday's high of day which was $2.14.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to hold Friday's low of $74.29. For a quick trade, I will be buying FAZ is FAS breaks below $74.29. A close over $79.36 would be bullish for FAS.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC is trading right at support of $1.60. The volume has really died down as we await an FDA fast track decision next week. Resistance - $1.64

Bank of America Corp ( BAC ) - Bank of America Corporation continues to be one of the strongest financial stocks. Waiting for a close over $17.93 to get back in....but will be using a tight stop. $20's could be right around the corner!

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) - An analyst was on CNBC today and stated that he thought LVS is fairly priced in the $14's. Resistance = $14.93 & $16.81

Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SPPI) - FDA Decision for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma on 9/7/09
