The stock market which includes the Dow Jones, NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, and OTC exchanges will close early on Christmas Eve 2012.  All markets will close at 1:00pm EST.

The stock market will then be closed on Christmas Day - December 25, 2012

What to expect for Christmas Ever trading.  I would expect super low volume, not a lot of action but the stock market should rise if the fiscal cliff looks like it will be solved.

December is historically one of the best months of the year and is home to the Santa Claus rally.  I am expecting a Santa Claus rally in 2012.
