The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 11110 on 10/28/10, as the stock market traded flat on a better than expected initial claims report. It looks like Initial jobless claims are finally dropping which would be good for the jobs market. Maybe people are actually getting jobs again.

As far as trading went, I bought a position in Country Style Cooking Restaurant Chain Co., Ltd. (CCSC) which has been dubbed the Mcdonalds (MCD) of China. This has been one of the hottest IPO's of 2010 and we are finally seeing a large pullback.

The rare earth metal stocks tanked due to China lifting the ban on rare earth metal exports. Both MCP & REE tanked.
