The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10359 on 7/15/10, as the stock market ended a 7 day winning streak but rallied late in the day. The Dow Jones was down most of the trading day but came back in the final half hour as it appear BP (BP) has successfully capped the oil well in the gulf. We also had news that the SEC is going to make an announcement at 4:45pm EST. Judging by the positive action in Goldman Sachs (GS) stock, the announcement could be a settlement with that company.
