Stocks to Watch - 5/21/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas


Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAZ continues to be the stock to ride if thinking the stock market can fall further. However, I have started to actively trade FAS again since it broke below $25. I feel we are due for a major bounce in the markets since we are severely oversold. I will be buying FAS on a break through It's high of the day or when I see the stock fall $0.75 - $1.00 in 15-20 minutes. I will then sell on any $0.20 -$0.30 bounce. If this correction continues, we could easily see FAS drop below $20 before the bounce.

Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. have been able to hold $66 so far on Thursday. I like pullbacks below $66...If you like Baidu, start buying in pieces below $66.

Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) - Shares of Netflix, Inc. are now down in an area that is attractive below $95. If you want to get greedy, look for below $90 which would be a steal. You can buy this for the long term or a trade.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are showing some nice support down here at $35 so any rally in the stock market should move these shares up. Resistance is now located at $37 but I'd much rather trade FAS right now then AIG.

Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. continue to trade below the 10 day moving average located at $16.52. I wouldn't buy BAC until it closes back above the 10 day and holds it. A close above the 10 day moving average would signal a trend change.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc are starting to look interesting given book value is around $126-$130 per share. If you are looking for a medium risk higher reward trade, Goldman Sachs might be for you!

Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio have resistance on the upside at $1.20 & $1.25, I like pullbacks below $1.00

Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. continue to get hit hard on the worse then expected earnings report. It doesn't look like there is any support for this stock at all. Resistance is now located at $1.00 & $1.11. ABK could easily rise 10% if it breaks through $1.11.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. are now trading below the 10 day moving average located at $0.50. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.70.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices continue to trade in a huge range between $8-$10. At this point, wait to buy near $8 or lower, look to sell above $9.30 or higher

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. broke support of $62.53.....I like pullbacks below $60 for a bounce and a long term buy and hold.

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Support = $1.15 - Resistance = $1.26

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $0.90 - Resistance $1.00
