The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 11123 on 4/14/10, as the stock market ripped higher on better then expected retail sales. Retail Sales for last month were up 1.6% which is an amazing number. Apple also reported better then expected iPad sales in addition to Intel Corp beating earnings expectations last night. The financial stocks were on fire thanks to JP Morgan beating earnings estimates. All in all, it was a solid day for the stock market.
