The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10099 on 2/12/10, as the stock market dropped due to worries out of China. The stock market tanked in early trading but then clawed back around lunch time with the leading sector being technology.

As far as technicals go, The Dow Jones continues to hold last Friday's low at 9835. A close back below 10,000 would be bearish and I could then see a retest of 9835. As long as the Dow Jones continues to hold 10,000, the risk is to the upside. On the S&P 500, support is located at 1060 while resistance is located between 1080-1085. A close above 1085 would cause a short squeeze.
