The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 10329 on 12/18/09, as the stock market traded flat with the exception of the technology sector. The Dow Jones Futures began the day higher by around 40 points as companies such as Research in Motion ( RIMM ) and Oracle ( ORCL ) blew away Wall Street earnings expectations.

Things will start to wind down as far as volume in the stock market goes as we approach the end of the year. We will still a sleuth of economic data however.
