The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 8018 on 4/3/09, as the stock market traded sideways after a horrible jobs report. The Dow Jones Futures were up slightly going into the number, received a pop after the number, and then went down going into the opening bell. The Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 went from being positive to negative several times through out the day. The Dow Jones has been hitting up against strong resistance at 8000 after a strong rally and finally closed over this level today!
