The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 7978 on 4/2/09, as the stock market soared on a better then expected factory orders number and the fact that FASB eased on some mark to market accounting rules. Factory Orders, FASB, and the good housing data we've been receiving lately pushed the Dow Jones through 8000 today. However, there was a correction going into the close ahead of the jobs data tomorrow.

- Watch Research in Motion ( RIMM ) tonight as the company will release earnings.
- Tomorrow we will get the jobs report data due out at 8:30am EST
