Stocks to Watch - 6/9/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas
Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to be a solid buy below $21, I would also add on pullbacks below $20 for a trade. I traded FAS several times on Tuesday and will continue to only trade FAS as long as it remains below $21. With the stock market oversold right now, I'd stay away from FAZ unless was see a large FAS bounce.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. rallied on positive news on Tuesday morning but just could not hold above the $1.17-$1.18 level. Ambac now has major resistance located at $1.27 & $1.34. A break above these two levels would be very bullish...until then, stay away.
Jones Soda Co. (JSDA) - Shares of Jones Soda Co. continue to be high on my watchlist even as the stock market falls. The stock has been making lower highs over the past week but if this changes, JSDA could really rip. Resistance is located at $1.70, $1.88, $1.94, $2.10 & $2.21.
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. are trading between the $14.80-$15 support zone again Tuesday which should hold on a closing basis unless the stock market really tanks. If we do see another leg lower, look to buy around $14 for a bounce into the high $14's or low $15's.
Stocks to Watch for Daytrading - Bank of Ireland (IRE) - Jones Soda Co. (JSDA) - Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Hercules Offshore, Inc. (HERO) - Brigham Exploration Co. (BEXP) - Allied Irish Banks plc (AIB)
American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are dropped with the market on Tuesday. Resistance continues to be located at $37 on the upside. Right now, I am trading FAS instead.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc finally pulled back below the $136 level on Tuesday. Book value on Goldman Sachs is around $126-$128 so I like the stock down here on a long term basis.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. hit $68.71 on Tuesday morning but then bounced. Support is located at $68 as well as $66. I'd be a buyer again below $68 per share.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) - Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corporation are offering another great entry point to those who missed the over over the past two weeks. Chesapeake Energy broke out because natural gas went from $4 to $5 on short covering. Bull markets always begin with short covering.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. is now breaking down on the iphone 4g news. Research in Motion is going to have to announce a 4g phone soon or the competition will eat them alive. Resistance is now located at $60. I could easily see a company like Microsoft buying RIMM out.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio continue to trade around $1.00 on very low volume. Resistance is located at $1.04, $1.13, and then $1.25. Pullbacks below $0.90 are a strong buy.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices are back below $8 again which are a buy in my book. Look to sell between $8.50-$9.
Alcoa, Inc. (AA) - Shares of Alcoa Inc are back below $11....I'd start adding to my portfolio down here but save some cash incase it falls below $10.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue to drop as bankruptcy appears more and more likely. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55.

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $0.90 - Resistance $1.02

Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to be a solid buy below $21, I would also add on pullbacks below $20 for a trade. I traded FAS several times on Tuesday and will continue to only trade FAS as long as it remains below $21. With the stock market oversold right now, I'd stay away from FAZ unless was see a large FAS bounce.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. rallied on positive news on Tuesday morning but just could not hold above the $1.17-$1.18 level. Ambac now has major resistance located at $1.27 & $1.34. A break above these two levels would be very bullish...until then, stay away.
Jones Soda Co. (JSDA) - Shares of Jones Soda Co. continue to be high on my watchlist even as the stock market falls. The stock has been making lower highs over the past week but if this changes, JSDA could really rip. Resistance is located at $1.70, $1.88, $1.94, $2.10 & $2.21.
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. are trading between the $14.80-$15 support zone again Tuesday which should hold on a closing basis unless the stock market really tanks. If we do see another leg lower, look to buy around $14 for a bounce into the high $14's or low $15's.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are dropped with the market on Tuesday. Resistance continues to be located at $37 on the upside. Right now, I am trading FAS instead.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc finally pulled back below the $136 level on Tuesday. Book value on Goldman Sachs is around $126-$128 so I like the stock down here on a long term basis.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. hit $68.71 on Tuesday morning but then bounced. Support is located at $68 as well as $66. I'd be a buyer again below $68 per share.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) - Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corporation are offering another great entry point to those who missed the over over the past two weeks. Chesapeake Energy broke out because natural gas went from $4 to $5 on short covering. Bull markets always begin with short covering.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. is now breaking down on the iphone 4g news. Research in Motion is going to have to announce a 4g phone soon or the competition will eat them alive. Resistance is now located at $60. I could easily see a company like Microsoft buying RIMM out.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio continue to trade around $1.00 on very low volume. Resistance is located at $1.04, $1.13, and then $1.25. Pullbacks below $0.90 are a strong buy.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices are back below $8 again which are a buy in my book. Look to sell between $8.50-$9.
Alcoa, Inc. (AA) - Shares of Alcoa Inc are back below $11....I'd start adding to my portfolio down here but save some cash incase it falls below $10.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue to drop as bankruptcy appears more and more likely. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55.

BP plc (BP) is trading around $34 this morning after the stock closed below $35 on Tuesday. The next major support level for BP is now located all the way down at $31. Questions about whether or not the dividend will be paid are circulating rapidly but at this point, I think most of the dividend will be safe. I could see BP cutting it for political purposes but can't see them canceling it right now. BP has resistance on the upside located at $35 as well as $36.20, but then nothing until $38.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to be a solid buy below $21, I would also add on pullbacks below $20 for a trade. I traded FAS several times on Tuesday and will continue to only trade FAS as long as it remains below $21. With the stock market oversold right now, I'd stay away from FAZ unless was see a large FAS bounce.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (ABK) - Shares of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. rallied on positive news on Tuesday morning but just could not hold above the $1.17-$1.18 level. Ambac now has major resistance located at $1.27 & $1.34. A break above these two levels would be very bullish...until then, stay away.
Jones Soda Co. (JSDA) - Shares of Jones Soda Co. continue to be high on my watchlist even as the stock market falls. The stock has been making lower highs over the past week but if this changes, JSDA could really rip. Resistance is located at $1.70, $1.88, $1.94, $2.10 & $2.21.
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) - Shares of Bank of America Corp. are trading between the $14.80-$15 support zone again Tuesday which should hold on a closing basis unless the stock market really tanks. If we do see another leg lower, look to buy around $14 for a bounce into the high $14's or low $15's.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - Shares of American Intl Group, Inc. are dropped with the market on Tuesday. Resistance continues to be located at $37 on the upside. Right now, I am trading FAS instead.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc finally pulled back below the $136 level on Tuesday. Book value on Goldman Sachs is around $126-$128 so I like the stock down here on a long term basis.
Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) - Shares of Baidu, Inc. hit $68.71 on Tuesday morning but then bounced. Support is located at $68 as well as $66. I'd be a buyer again below $68 per share.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) - Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corporation are offering another great entry point to those who missed the over over the past two weeks. Chesapeake Energy broke out because natural gas went from $4 to $5 on short covering. Bull markets always begin with short covering.
Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. is now breaking down on the iphone 4g news. Research in Motion is going to have to announce a 4g phone soon or the competition will eat them alive. Resistance is now located at $60. I could easily see a company like Microsoft buying RIMM out.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - Shares of Sirius XM Radio continue to trade around $1.00 on very low volume. Resistance is located at $1.04, $1.13, and then $1.25. Pullbacks below $0.90 are a strong buy.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - Shares of Advanced Micro Devices are back below $8 again which are a buy in my book. Look to sell between $8.50-$9.
Alcoa, Inc. (AA) - Shares of Alcoa Inc are back below $11....I'd start adding to my portfolio down here but save some cash incase it falls below $10.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - Shares of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. continue to drop as bankruptcy appears more and more likely. Right now, I'd be avoiding Cell Therapeutics until it breaks above $0.55.

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $0.90 - Resistance $1.02

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) Support & Resistance Levels - 6/9/10
Resistance Levels: $3.80, $4.04, $4.27, $4.37
Support Levels: $3.60, $3.53, $3.40

Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) managed to hold the $3.60 support level on Tuesday and closed near the highs of the day. Citigroup Inc must hold $3.60 on a closing basis or we could easily test $3.53 and then $3.40. I don't expect Citigroup Inc to sustain and rally until is get back above the 200 day moving average located at $4.04. However, I view anything below $3.80 as a solid long term buy.
