Apple Inc. (AAPL) plunged below the 50 day moving average Friday but is back above $200 in pre market ahead of earnings. Keep an eye on $203.26 which is the 50 day moving average, a close back above this level would be bullish. A close above $216 at any time would also be bullish. If we see a further correction in Apple shares, I'd be willing to buy below $190.

Citigroup Inc (C:NYSE) Support & Resistance Levels - 1/25/10

Resistance Levels: $3.47, $3.60, $3.70

Support Levels: $3.13, $3.00

Citigroup (NYSE:C) continues to hold the new support level at $3.20. If this level is broken, I expect the major support area between $3.13-$3.15 to be tested. When Citigroup did their equity offering to repay TARP, the offering price was $3.15 and the low that day was $3.13. If this doesn't hold on a closing basis, Citigroup will have to hold $3 or things will get ugly. I would be a buyer of Citigroup again when the stock closes back above the 10 day moving average located at $3.47.

Stocks to Watch - 1/25/10 - Stock Market Investing Ideas

Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SOMX) - Shares of Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. were on fire Friday after the company announced that it has resubmitted Silenor Data to the FDA. The stock has resistance located at $3.00 for next week.

Conexant Systems Inc. (CNXT) - Shares of Conexant Systems Inc. soared about 21% after the company smashed earnings estimates. CNXT is now a stock to watch because it is nearing the 52 week high located at $3.95.

GenVec Inc. (GNVC) - GNVC released the following news Friday afternoon: Data from TNFerade(TM) Esophageal Cancer Study Presented at 2010 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium. Longer term resistance is located up at $4.50.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) - Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. tanked for the second straight day after the company reported blowout earnings. Most of the big banks have been falling due to President Obama threatening tighter regulations. GS broke down below It's 200 day moving average ( $159 ) on Friday for the first time since April. The next major support level is located at $150 while resistance is located at $160.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (GMCR) - Green Mountain Coffee is a stock that I own personally and will be holding the stock going into earnings on Wednesday. I will look to add on any weakness after earnings but I do expect a blow out quarter and possibly raised guidance. The acquisition of Diedrich Coffee Inc. (DDRX) was huge because Diedrich had some of the top selling K-cups on Amazon.com during the Holiday season. GMCR is a solid stock for the next 3-5 years.

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC finally seems to have bottomed out as we are just weeks away from an FDA advisory Panel meeting. I am watching watching the $1.24 high from a week ago. If CTIC can break above this level, I will jump in for a trade. As we get closer to the meeting, I will re access.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - RIMM is another stock that I currently own which has been holding up fairly well during this latest pullback in the stock market. I am concerned because the stock is now below all three major moving averages but when this happens, a bottom is usually put in weeks later. If I see a pullback between $58-$60, I will be adding to my long position.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) - AMD is now trading around $8 and looks like it could be a nice trade soon. I plan to buy AMD as soon as it breaks back above the high of the day. Support is located around $7.50.

DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) - I continue to watch DRYS down here below $6. Resistance is located at $6.20 so a break above that level would be bullish. Support is located at $5.81 as well as $5.66. I plan to add to my long position when DRYS breaks back above $6.20.

American Intl Group, Inc. (AIG) - AIG fell below $27 on Friday as the sell off took It's toll on the stock. The next major support area is located between $24-$25. AIG stock could get a pop if it breaks back above Friday's high of $27.75. As I have been saying for weeks now, I won't be touching this stock until it trades back above $30.

Bank of America Corp (BAC) - Bank of America Corporation broke down through $15 on Friday. I like BAC down here because I think the stock could gain 50-80% during the rest of 2010. The 200 day moving average is now located at $14.46 so we could see a retest of this level on Monday. I plan to buy the stock the next time it breaks up through It's high of the day and add more above $15.52.

Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS) - FAS continues to break to new lows this week after the financial sector has come under extreme pressure. If FAS breaks below $67 next week, I will be an aggressive buyer of the stock for a trade. FAZ and FAS are short term stocks that can be bought to hedge other positions if you don't trade options. Watching for sub $67 on FAS.

Freddie Mac (FRE) - Support = $1.12 - Resistance = $1.28

Fannie Mae (FNM) - Support = $0.97 - Resistance $1.10
