YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) continues to hold the $4 support level which is bullish. In two weeks, some of YRC's debt will come due so I'd expect the stock to become volatile. YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) is pulling back to the 10 day moving average....I really like to buy YRCW below $5 here as long as the stock can close over the 10 day moving average. The stock has closed above the 10 day moving average every day since the start of the new break out in late August. If YRCW breaks down, the 200 day moving average would also be a solid area to buy. Since my last update, YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) broke $2.90 and surged into the $4's. I am now watching resistance at $4.58 as well as the May 2009 high of $4.78. A close above $4.78 would be bullish and there is a chance YRCW could retest $6. Pullbacks to the 10 & 200 day moving averages should now be bought if the opportunity presents itself. YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) got a yes vote on labor concessions last night and this is causing shares to gap higher in pre market. Two key resistance levels to watch are $2.90 & $3.00. A close over $3 would be bullish and this would start a fresh breakout. After $3, the next major resistance levels are located between $3.35-$3.50. YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) stock exploded above the $2.25 resistance Friday afternoon. For a trade, I will be buying a break above $2.50 with the expectation that YRCW stock will retest $2.90-$3.00 resistance. Pullbacks to the 10 day moving average also offer a nice area of support as well. The 10 day moving average ( currently $2.07 ) has started to turn upward and should provide a nice bounce if it is hit. This company appears as though it will avoid bankruptcy and if the stock can close over $3, it would be a big statement.

Today's Stock Gainers 1/9/09 - Jobs Report

This morning, 1/09/09, the futures are slightly lower as we wait for the jobs report to hit. I will post the employment report number when it hits here in 15 minutes as well as the unemployment rate. Also check out technical analysis of the stock market for today.

Apollo Group ( APOL ) - Strong Earnings Report
YRC Worldwide ( YRCW ) - Analyst Raises Estimates

Employment Number - -524,000
Unemployment Rate - 7.2%

There were revisions to the last payroll report, another 150K lost in November...so I don't really believe this -524K number. We lost 2.6 million jobs in 2008 - 1.9 million lost in the last 4 months.
