Tesla Motors (TSLA) Stock Analysis 12/16/13 December 16, 2013 -

Tesla (TSLA) stock failed at the 50 day moving located around $152 on Friday.  The stock continues to close above the 10 day moving average and the technicals are improving greatly.  Tesla (TSLA) was way to cheap in the $120's and the stock remains a strong buy down there.  The next big catalyst will the U.S Gov't exonerating the Model S which will provide another pop in the stock.  TSLA will now have resistance at $152 next week.

Apple (AAPL) stock took a dip on Friday and closed below the 10 day moving average.  Six months ago this would have started a major downtrend but times have surely changed.  If Apple (AAPL) pulls back to meet the 50 day moving average around $530, expect buyers to show up in droves.

Carl Icahn continues to promote Apple (AAPL) and as long as he remains a shareholder, I don't see the stock dropping much from here.  Apple (AAPL) will have support at $545 and resistance at $575.

Restoration Hardware (RH) - RH was explosive on Friday and is worth watching on Monday.  The stock is a strong buy on pullbacks below $61.

CytRx (CYTR) - CYTR hit $6.79 Friday and then dropped $1.  Buy break outs through the high of the day and avoid buying dips.

Tesla (TSLA) - TSLA has now rallied from $116-$152 in two weeks.  I wouldn't be putting new money to work, look to buy below $140.

Twitter (TWTR) stock hit another all time high on Friday and closed at $59.16.  Twitter now has a fully diluted market cap of $41 billion.  I'm expecting an exhaustion gap higher Monday and possibly Tuesday before a correction.  Twitter (TWTR) has gone parabolic and one should be selling, not buying the stock right now.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 15772 on 12/13/13, as the stock market rebounded on Friday.  Shares of Tesla (TSLA) hit $152 before pulling back late in the day.  TSLA shares are up $32 from the low just 2 weeks ago.  Keep an eye on earnings from FCEL on Monday.  We will be watching this closely in the stock picks group.

Tesla (TSLA) - Shares of Tesla broke out above $150 on Friday.  TSLA will have resistance at $152 which is where the 50 day moving average is located.   I recently upgraded TSLA at $120 with a $170 price target.  More......

Yelp (YELP) - Yelp (YELP) is back above $65 today.  YELP will have major support between $56-$59.  Buy YELP below $60 - My price target is $105 for 2014.

Twitter (TWTR) - Shares of Twitter (TWTR) are on fire right now, trading near $57.  TWTR is a buy below $45.  Resistance is located around $60.

Facebook (FB) - Facebook (FB) is back trading above $52 after the announcement that it will be added to the S&P 500 12/20/13.   FB will have support around $50.  Buy FB below $48.

Noodles & Company (NDLS) - Noodles & Co (NDLS) continues to trade in a downtrend.  NDLS is a strong buy below $37.

PotBelly (PBPB) - Potbelly (PBPB) is trading back near $25.  PBPB is a strong buy below $26.

Apple (AAPL) - Apple (AAPL) stock is trading back at $555.  AAPL will have resistance at $575.
